Woman and grand-daughter buried in Myagdi landslide

POKHARA: Two lives had been misplaced in a landslide brought on by the rain final evening in Kotgaun, Raghuganga Rural Municipality, Myagdi district.
Grandmother Hamaya Sherpunja (50) and her granddaughter Simran Chhantyal (4) had been buried beneath the mass of earth that slid from atop late at round 11:00 pm whereas they had been sleeping in a cow-shed, knowledgeable Police Inspector Dhruba Prasad Sharma of District Police Office, Myagdi.

Police Inspector Sharma added that the roof of tin and partitions of the cowshed all got here down. Though the animals within the shed weren’t killed within the landslide, different meals supplies, utensils had been destroyed by it.
