‘Winning Mindset’ sessions for athletes
LALITPUR: The Nepal Olympic Committee on Sunday began the Winning Mindset Psychology Well-being Programme for athletes.
Chairperson of the Sports Psychology Commission Indra Gurung performed the one-hour session via video-conference for the athletes who’ve been getting ready for the Tokyo Olympics.
“The coaching classes of the athletes have been postponed on account of pandemic COVID-19 and all of the gamers are confined to their residence due to the lockdown,” stated the NOC in a launch. “We determined to conduct the programme for per week to stop potential psychological and psychological issues within the athletes,” the discharge added.
“We may even proceed to watch the health of the athletes throughout this lockdown interval,” stated the NOC, which had final week held video-conference classes with stakeholders varied to debate the methods of protecting the athletes bodily and mentally match.
