Virus claims 14 Nepalis abroad

KATHMANDU: Fourteen Nepalis dwelling overseas have died as a result of novel conronavirus since its outbreak across the globe, mentioned Non-Resident Nepali Association on Sunday.

According to knowledge compiled and disclosed by NRNA President Kumar Panta-led Health Committee, the COVID-19 has claimed eight Nepalis in Britain, 5 within the United States and one within the United Arab Emirates.

As many as 662 Nepalis dwelling overseas have examined optimistic for COVID-19 to date. Of them, 500 are residing within the US, 100 in Britain, 18 in Spain, 10 within the UAE, 4 in Germany, eight in Portugal, 9 in Australia, 4 in Saudi Arabia, 5 in Kuwait, and one every in Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar and Hong Kong.
