Pregnant woman with COVID goes under knife
Nepalgunj, June 9
A pregnant lady contaminated with COVID-19 underwent profitable surgical procedure at Nepalgunj Medical College, Kohalpur, Banke, as we speak.
The lady needed to endure a surgical procedure as there was complication in her massive gut, stated Dr Dinesh Shrestha of the medical school and hospital. The operation took one-and-a-half hour, stated Dr Shrestha. The situation of the lady and the 18-week-old child inside her womb is regular after surgical procedure, based on Shrestha.
The lady was referred to Nepalgunj Medical College Kohalpur from Bayalpata Hospital in Achham yesterday. She had examined optimistic for COVID-19 on the hospital. After she was recognized with COVID-19, the OPD and emergency ward of the hospital was sealed final night.
Issuing a press assertion as we speak, the hospital stated that the OPD and emergency wards had been sealed for a day for the lady’s operation.
Dr Shrestha stated the hospital would resume all providers from tomorrow because the operation was over and the hospital and its premises had been sanitised.
