NRB directs banks, cooperatives to stay open Saturday

Nepal Rastra Bank has directed banking establishments throughout the nation to remain open tomorrow regardless that it’s Saturday.

According to the central financial institution’s Banks and Financial Institutions Regulation Department Chief Dev Kumar Dhakal, the directive was issued to ease the income assortment course of that has been halted of the lockdown carried out to curb the coronavirus an infection.

The directive applies to banks of A, B and C grades banks in addition to cooperatives together with Nepal Clearing House for the aim of income assortment.
