NA chopper set to airlift APF personnel to Chhangru, near Kalapani

KATHMU, May 12: A contingent of Armed Police Force, Nepal is leaving the Lipulekh space for border safety after the Indian facet unilaterally constructed the street. 

According to the Ministry of Home, the APF workforce will depart right here for Byas Rural Municipality-1 in Darchula district for the institution of Border Outpost (BOP). 

Ministry’s Spokesperson Kedarnath Sharma mentioned that the AFP personnel will head to Chhangru of Byas in a helicopter of Nepal Army. 

Chhangru lies on the distance of 1 kilometer away from Indian territory 14 kilometers from China’s.   

In the primary section, 25 APF personnel will probably be deployed underneath the management of AFP, Nepal Inspector Mili Bahadur Cha.

Deputy Superintendent of APF, Nepal Dambar Bahadur Bista mentioned that wanted logistics for the workforce are being readied in the present day. It is learnt that the BOP will probably be stationed in a non-public rented-house in Chhangru village the place the variety of households sts 105.     

The Ministry has chartered MI 17 Helicopter of Nepal Army to airlift the APF personnel. 

Nepal Army’s spokesperson Bigyan Dev Pey mentioned that the helicopter will fly on Wednesday morning if there stays favorable climate.
