Myanmar Air Force aircraft brings in Nepalis stranded abroad

KATHMANDU:  A Myanmar Air Force plane carrying stranded Nepali nationals, has arrived in Kathmandu this morning.

According to Spokesperson at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Dev Chandra Lal Karna, Myanmar Air Force (MAF 003) plane, Fokker 70, carrying 26 Nepalis landed on the airport at round 11:00 am at the moment.

The flight has introduced again dwelling the folks similar to the federal government’s plan to evacuate Nepalis stranded overseas.

According to TIA Spokesperson Karna, an Air Arabia flight from the United Arab Emirates too will land on the TIA  at round 3:00 pm at the moment.

As the federal government has but to finalise the problems concerning holding centres, immigration and flight schedules, the precise repatriation course of will start from June 10.

Eight plane of Nepal Airlines Corporation and Himalaya Airlines have been designated to function from June 10 on one-aircraft-one-destination foundation, based on joint secretary at MoCTCA, Suresh Acharya.

The evacuation course of might be carried out giving high precedence to those that have been granted amnesty, whose visas have expired, who’ve been staying in repatriation centres, who’ve already acquired permission to return dwelling, who’ve misplaced family in Nepal or have to return for attending final rites and different such features in reminiscence of the departed and lastly, those that have misplaced their jobs.
