Gold price sees heavy increase of 10k, market partially opens today

KATHMANDU: The costs of gold and silver noticed a drastic surge as Nepal’s precious-metal market reopened right this moment which had remained shut owing to the coronavirus outbreak.

Gold value jumped to Rs 87,400 per tola right this moment, from Rs 77,000 every week in the past, whereas silver value per tola jumped to Rs 925 from Rs 720.

Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FeNeGoSiDA), in a press assertion launched Saturday said that with the altering modalities of lockdown, the gold-silver market would function partially from Sunday.
