Gandaki Province Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung has clarified that the federal government intends to proceed with its electoral space infrastructure growth programme within the upcoming fiscal.

Responding to queries raised by Provincial Assembly members on the insurance policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal on the Provincial Assembly immediately, Gurung proposed amending the process as an alternative of scrapping the programme altogether.

“I had advocated for scrapping the programme prior to now, however as you have been in favour of it, we determined to maintain the programme within the price range this fiscal. Let’s preserve it within the upcoming price range as nicely; if want be, let’s amend the process to ease its implementation,” he added.

Further, Gurung described the programme as the one programme that may join the PA members with the folks.

The provincial authorities has launched the electoral space infrastructure growth programme from the present fiscal, allocating Rs 20 million to an electoral space.

PA members elected via proportional illustration votes and a few opposition PA members had beneficial scrapping the programme and investing the fund within the well being sector as an alternative.
