KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali held a phone dialog with High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union (EU) and Vice President of European Commission Josep Borrell.

Various issues regarding Nepal-EU relations and cooperation, notably within the context of COVID-19, have been mentioned through the name.

The two sides shared their sentiments on lives misplaced and widespread human struggling brought on by the coronavirus pandemic, and expressed solidarity of their widespread battle towards it, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said.

On the event, Minister Gyawali appreciated EU’s essential position in preparedness, prevention and management of the virus in several elements of the world. He thanked Vice President of European Commission for EU’s longstanding partnership in Nepal’s improvement efforts.
