Nawaraj BK alongside together with his associates had gone to Soti in Rukum West from Bheri Municipality in Jajarkot district to carry his girlfriend residence for marriage.

However, upon reaching the woman’s hometown, the villagers attacked and chased the youths to a degree of forcing them to leap into Bheri river, as the one technique of escape. In the incident, six had been killed, scores had been injured.

Meanwhile, the victims’ households have filed a FIR towards 20 individuals together with the ward chair of Soti on the DPO after the incident.
