Barekot RM to provide food relief produced locally
JAJARKOT: Barekot Rural Municipality has determined to supply meals reduction produced domestically to day by day wagers affected by lockdown.
According to Chair of the agricultural municipality Mahendra Shah, the meals administration programme underneath the Disaster Management Fund supplies Rs 150,000 to every ward which can be utilized for purchasing maize from different wards for distribution amongst these individuals who require it. A household of 5, therefore, will obtain 5 pathi of maize, half a litre of oil, and 1 kg salt.
The ward seems to be to distribute enough ration for a month to about 850 households and to make sure that the village has the required 300 quintal of maize.
To keep away from crowd, the agricultural municipality has determined to develop a schedule to distribute meals to Ward 1 on Sunday, Ward 2 and three on Monday, four on Tuesday, 5 and 6 on Wednesday, 7 and eight on Thursday and 9 on Friday, respectively.
