11 killed, 22 others injured in a road accident in Banke

KATHMU, June 1: At least 11 folks have died scores others are injured in a highway accident that happened on Sunday night time in Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality-2 in Banke district.

According to the District Police Office, Banke, the accident happened when a minibus collided with a truck that was parked on the roadside. The ill-fated minibus (Na 5 Chha 5995)  was carrying practically three dozen migrant employees who returned from India to their residence district in Salyan through Nepalgunj.

According to police, 22 others have been injured within the accident.  Condition of one of many injured is crucial.
